[Chicago Final Edition]
Chicago Tribune

Chicago, Ill.
In a Monday conference call with reporters, [Simon Cowell] and fellow executive producer Ken Warwick of "American Idol" promised that "America's Got Talent" would be different from "Idol." The show will look for all sorts of acts, such as musical groups, magicians, comedians, dancers, jugglers and trapeze artists. And the age limits of "Idol" won't apply; Cowell said "Talent" is looking for performers "from 2 to 100" years old. Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner.
