Abstract (Document Summary)

"I saw a lot of professional athletes who weren't being well- taken care of when they had to relocate," says the 43-year-old [Ed Kaminsky], who played high school sports before getting into the real estate business. "The idea was to create a (resource) that would be a stress relief for them when they face the shock of having to move quickly from one city to another."

Through Sport Star she worked with [Johnny Damon] to sell his Dedham home and is now taking Coco Crisp and his family around to look at houses - picking them up daily from a local hotel. Damon and [Crisp] have been "perfect gentlemen," [Jeff Roberts] says.

HAVING A BALL: Jeff Roberts, left, Sport Star's vice president of business development, Ed Kaminsky, company founder and president, and Eric Amey, company 'sports guru,' have found their niche helping star athletes relocate.
