Stevie Flemmi, the murderous mobster, is in the news again because he will soon be testifying against Zip, the corrupt former FBI agent who's already doing 10 years in a federal pen. [Stevie] will link Zip to the murder of another friend of his, one John Callahan. Stevie was introduced to Callahan by a hood named Jimmy Martorano, whom Stevie ratted into prison because, well, his other friend, Zip, needed a scalp.

Jimmy Martorano's brother, John, will also testify in Dade against the crooked fed. John Martorano also knew what a good friend he had in Stevie when he read the old FBI reports where Stevie was calling him a "pimp." Stevie was also planning to frame Johnny for a murder Stevie himself was going to commit.

Stevie had friends everywhere. One of them was a state cop named Richard J. Schneiderhan. Schneiderhan told his family that if he ever got in a jam, they should call Stevie, because Stevie was such a good friend.
