"It's something I would never do, but that really could have been a plot to get sales," Celtics forward Walter McCarty, who has released his own recording of R&B music, said of [Ron Artest]'s upcoming rap/R&B release and the national publicity storm that his self- created debacle has triggered.
McCarty hopes to release his second CD next spring. Celtics teammate Ricky Davis, himself an aspiring keyboard player, has an older brother named Alonge who is about to release his own rap CD under the name Mr. Savage.
