[Howie Carr] was a regular on WRKO from late 1992 until last May. He's still under contract to Atlantic Ventures, owners of WRKO and WHDH.

Although Carr was persona non grata with some of the Atlantic Radio folks, WHDH station manager John Maguire made the big pitch for the longtime Herald columnist. And while Carr will air opposite WRKO's Jerry Williams for much of the afternoon, Atlantic perceives him more as a formidable foe to WEEI's Eddie Andelman.
