Erasquin fills rice-paper wrappers with ground pork, potatoes, carrots and eggs, then deep fries them crispy and golden brown before serving them with honey sauce. TURO-TURO'S MECHADO (Beef Stew) 2 lbs. beef, cubed 2 tomatoes, chopped 1 onion, chopped 1 t. canola oil 3 c. water 5 t. fresh-squeezed lemon juice 5 t. soy sauce 1 clove garlic, chopped 2 potatoes, chopped 1 carrot, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped 2 14 oz. cans tomato sauce Salt and pepper to taste Saute beef, chopped tomatoes and onion in canola oil for about 2 minutes.
