[Tom Gerace] first met McClatchy in his luxury box at a Pirates game about a year ago. "Around the beginning of the year he expressed interest in making an investment in Gather," Gerace said.

McClatchy will not be taking an executive position in the company, however, Gerace said. "He is just a terrific investor and a great resource for me when I want to bounce an idea off of somebody," Gerace said.
