Abstract (Document Summary)

Selectmen Chairwoman Janette Fasano said she was attempting to schedule a board meeting for next week to talk about how [Steven Angelo]'s successor will be chosen. She said she would invite Angelo to attend the meeting.

Angelo's decision came less than six months after the board granted him a two and a half year contract extension. That vote ended uncertainty about his status that began when the board voted 3- 2 last June to extend his contract, which was set to expire this past January 6. Four votes are needed to extend a contract. The two selectmen who voted against the extension were defeated in last fall's elections.
