Abstract (Document Summary)

In three short years, Super Prep has become an essential tool for recruiting coordinators nationwide. "This is not just a media source," said [Allen Wallace]. "This is mostly a recruiters guide. That's our business, to provide information on the high school athlete."

"Before coaches wouldn't have to answer to losing a top player. Much of the recruiting was done at the local level," said Wallace. "Today, the pressure has been put on the coaches because of the high visibility of the recruiting sweepstakes. You can no longer recruit just locally to make it big time."

"This is the area where we have the greatest impact," said Wallace. "Super Prep presents players in a more detailed way. It gives the kids exposure to the coaches and the various programs nationwide."
