Abstract (Document Summary)

Genesis plans to bounce back this summer with a new album and world tour starting in the United States. [Phil Collins], who won three Grammy awards this week for album of the year, best male pop singer and best producer, will again be at the helm. He'll rejoin [Mike Rutherford] (whose recent album, "Mike and the Mechanics," is in Billboard's Top 30) and [Tony Banks] in a relationship dating back more than 16 years since their prep school days in England.

The Yes concert film "9012LIVE," shot in Edmonton, Alberta, and enhanced by a million dollars'worth of special effects by the Charlex company, was screened to a crowded house at the Paradise Theater Wednesday night. It was a mind-blowing production -- one of the most advanced of its kind. Trippy animation sequences of floating starships and futuristic castles were interlaced with spinning, 3D mirrors and snippets of old films, adding leaps of fancy to an outstanding performance by the band.
