State senator and congressional candidate Stephen F. Lynch disclosed yesterday he was arrested for assault and battery on six Iranian students in 1979, saying he felt "antagonized" by their anti- American protest.
"I was antagonized," Lynch said. "One of the Iranian students got in my face with a sign and there was an altercation. There were just punches thrown; there were no weapons involved, but it was assault and battery."
