A Battle Creek man, 31, was arrested on charges of assault with intent to murder, being a felon in possession of a firearm and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony after a shooting outside the Fire and Ice Bar at 1745 E. Columbia Ave. Battle Creek police were called at 1:43 a.m. today and said the suspect fired two shots into the air and then pointed a handgun at another man and fired a single shot, hitting a window in a car.
