Abstract (Document Summary)

Kristinn Taylor, a spokesman for free republic.com, said Ryan O'Doherty's Democratic Party address was one of at least three used to operate the identity of MD4BUSH, the mysterious Internet poster who appears to have coaxed an aide to Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. into talking about the mayor's personal life.

Taylor identified three e-mail addresses yesterday that he said "were used to register and maintain the account" for MD4BUSH. They are ryanrock2004@yahoo.com (used to open the account in October 2004); rodoherty@md dems.org; and brianwaver ly@yahoo.com. The e- mail addresses were first reported by WBAL-TV this week.

[Derek Walker], the Democratic spokesman, said the timing of [Jim Robinson]'s message and the leak about the MD4BUSH e-mail addresses is suspicious. It comes two days after a former state employee testified to a special committee that the Ehrlich administration dispatched [Joseph F. Steffen Jr.] to fire state workers because of their political affiliations.
