 Abstract (Document Summary)

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Wal-Mart says it is not stocking a slow- selling "morning-after" emergency contraceptive pill, but that ethical considerations played no role in its decision.

The decision not to stock Preven in Wal-Mart's 2,400 pharmacies was made in the fall, about the time the drug was approved for distribution by prescription, [Jay] Allen said.
