The Dakotas District, with more than 1,100 post offices in South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and a small portion of northwest Minnesota, was one of the hardest hit, with 260 on the list to potentially close, said Karen Fredrickson, marketing manager for the Dakotas District Office in Sioux Falls.
