Authorities alleged that Ronald Daniels Jr. and other members of the Fruit Town Brims arranged for repeated purchases and transport of large quantities of heroin from Essex County for distribution throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties, including in towns such as Oceanport, West Long Branch, Rumson, Eatontown, Red Bank, Berkeley Township, Little Silver and Sea Bright.
