BARNESVILLE--When a letter arrives in a certain South Georgia town addressed to "Aunt Pennie, McRae, Georgia," the postmaster knows not only to whom it goes, but also approximately whom it is from--that is, one of the scores of young people in England, Wales, New Zealand, Germany, Australia or Iceland whom Mrs. Fred Hardin had "adopted." Now, being adopted by Aunt Pennie may. . . the recipient of this favor to practically anything, ranging all the way from regular letters to a trip to Americal; and I'll tell you more about her presently. She is one of my friends whom I know so far only by letter.
