President Bush has banned Americans ``from engaging in any financial transactions'' with Haiti, said Luigi Einaudi, U.S. ambassador to the Organization of American States. The move is the latest step in efforts to restore to power Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide, ousted last month in a bloody military coup.
