DUELING VIDEOS: The latest hot angle on reality TV may be homemade. Two networks are making room for comedy videos made by TV viewers: America's Funniest Home Videos on ABC, which premieres Jan. 14; and Fox's Totally Hidden Video, which starts airing ``funny'' and ``prank'' videos from its audience Sunday. Why go out of your way to make a fool of yourself on television? The usual reason: cold, hard cash. Both shows will award $10,000 to the maker of each week's funniest video and each will offer a grand prize, as well, at year's end. Home Videos, which will be hosted by Full House's Bob Saget, is still determining what its grand prize will be, but Totally Hidden says it will hand out $25,000 to its finalist (judged on May 19). The studio audiences will vote on the best videos.
