``This is an opportunity for any number of producers or casting people to see me.'' [Shelly Jamison], a former producer/reporter/anchor at the station, is married and mother of a 1-year-old son. Earlier, she said, ``I'm pretty positive I'll be fired - if not, at least yanked off the air.'' CUTLINE:JAMISON: She's getting more exposure in `Playboy.' CLIFF NOTES: Cliffhanger, that is. And the news isn't so much what happened on the shows. Rare for CBS, Knots Landing's two-hour finale - which found Abby (Donna Mills) leaving the show triumphant, avoiding the law and heading to Japan as a trade representative - beat the season climax of NBC's L.A. Law. Law ended on a happy note, with mommy wannabe Ann (Jill Eikenberry) learning she's pregnant. Knots averaged an 18.0 rating/30 share for the two hours, but its 9-10 p.m. EDT/PDT score (19.2/32) was higher than Law's 18.4/31. (A ratings point represents 904,000 TV households; shares are the percentage of sets in use.)
