Lancaster, Mass., is becoming the mecca of a health treatment that combines holistic medicine and Transcendental Meditation. Ayurveda (pronounced eye-er-vaida) outpatient centers, from Pacific Palisades, Calif., to Washington, D.C., have opened and TM'ers hope the attention they've received from celebrities will help boost credibility hurt by claims that some practitioners of TM can levitate.
