The Insider is a docudrama supposedly based on the truth. The film clearly suggests that Brown & Williamson threatened Jeffrey Wigand. We state here categorically that B&W did not threaten Wigand or his family in any way. Contrary to what the movie shows, we did not send threatening messages, and we did not put a bullet in his mailbox.
