John Vanbiesbrouck became the second U.S.-born goaltender to reach 300 career wins when the Panthers beat the Islanders 6-2 Saturday.
Vanbiesbrouck, who will play for Team USA in the Olympics, was the 15th NHL player to reach the milestone. He trails only the Penguins' Tom Barrasso (312 wins) among U.S.-born goaltenders.
Jagr hurt: Penguins RW Jaromir Jagr left Saturday's 1-0 loss to the Canadiens after being speared in the leg. The team said the injury was not related to a groin muscle injury that kept him out for four games this season.
